Jekyll and Hyde
2016 The Old Vic
- Broadway World Award winner for Outstanding Achievement in Dance
Nearly 70 years after the infamous original story of split personality syndrome comes this strange new case of Jekyll & Hyde; the mysterious tale of a man whose deep-rooted capacity for both good and evil ultimately rips him apart. This once gothic story of intrigue now comes roaring through the winding cobbled backstreets of 1950’s London.
As the city is rebuilding from the rubble, one man is rising: a doctor, a botanist, unlucky in business and even unluckier in love. This misfortunate creature meets Dahlia and a chance for happiness starts to bloom, but it isn’t long until his infatuation leads him down an ever darkening path as his grip on reality starts to slip.
